Strayer Hall Renovation - 2024-2025
While Strayer is closed for renovation, we have some alternate practices in place to facilitate storing student instruments safely and for providing practice spaces for student musicians to practice individually during the school day, in the afternoons/evenings, and on weekends.

Everyone wants and needs to practice! Use the procedure below to obtain access and permission to use these alternate spaces to practice while Strayer is closed.
Apply for off-hours access using the link below. When you are approved, you'll receive an email with a link directing you to one of these spaces, where you can sign up for the exact day/time you want to reserve:
Cushing Classroom B (suitable for individual practice)
Cushing Conference Room (suitable for individual practice; string bass available in this room)
Dining Hall Conference Room (drum set and electric instruments available in this room)
Dining Hall Herrick Room (suitable for small group practice where no equipment is needed)
NOTE FOR PIANISTS -- None of the rooms above have pianos. But you are welcome to practice on the two pianos on the 3rd Floor of the Fonseca Center at any time. No reservation/no off-hours access required. If the piano is available, you are welcome to use it!
Apply for off-hours access to practice spaces in the Dining Hall and Cushing.
Apply for a locker on the lower level of the Dining Hall to store your instrument.
